Diggerland Gift Experiences

Every boy loves big, mucky diggers and JCBs, and Diggerland offers a whole skip load of activities and events to satisfy any fan of these big yellow machines.

Dumper racing, available at all Diggerland branches, lets you race against others in a JCB dumper for just £40. All you need is a current driving license, to be over the age of 17 and be ready to do some serious racing! After a quick safety demonstration and some instruction you race against the other participants and against the clock to see whether or not you’ll make it to the Grand Final. Winners of the Grand final race will get a certificate and the knowledge that they’re the best racer! Everyone gets at least 2 races, and you’re welcome to bring spectators for £5 per person. The event runs every last Saturday of the month, March to October, at 6pm.

For £99 you can find out exactly what it’s like to drive and man a classic JCB 3CX backhoe loader, and learn how to drive and handle it, and spend almost 2 hours playing and experiencing the sheer power of this awesome vehicle. You need a full drivers license and be over the age of 17, and you have to share an instructor with a few other people- but you get the JCB all to yourself for the full 90 minutes so you can live out those school boy fantasises.

If you want something a little more challenging you might want to try JCB Digger racing. This lets you race against others in an 8.5 ton JCB digger whilst completing various tasks and obstacles. Like the Dumper racing offer you get a chance at two races to try and win your place in the Grand Final, and the winner of that get their own special trophy! As with all the offers, you need a full drivers license and must be over the age of 17 on the day of the event. Events are held once a month at 10:30am on Sundays at Durham, Yorkshire and Devon in May to September, whilst it’s April to October at the Kent Diggerland.
